UFO: PER LA PRIMA VOLTA UN ORGANISMO PRIVATO DI
LIVELLO MONDIALE PER LA RICERCA
Nel 2018 la Cina aveva avviato un’azione di livello internazionale tesa a promuovere le ricerche a livello internazionale, in particolar modo in sede ONU, sul fenomeno degli Oggetti Volanti Non Identificati (UFO), proseguendo nel filone di quanto già tentato dal Governo di Grenada nel 1978. A seguito dell’arenarsi dell’iniziativa per via della guerra commerciale sino-americana e dell’epidemia di Covid-19, il gruppo di ricercatori che era stato a questo scopo costituito ha ritenuto opportuno non disperdere il grande valore dello spirito originario dell’iniziativa cinese e ha deciso di procedere autonomamente, associandosi in un nuovo gruppo privato internazionale di ricerca sugli oggetti volanti non identificati e fenomeni connessi, denominato ICER o International Coalition for Extraterrestrial Research (Coalizione Internazionale per la Ricerca Extraterrestre).
Per la prima volta la ricerca ufologica potrà così parlare con una voce unica a livello mondiale. Il neonato gruppo è infatti composto da ricercatori di Argentina, Australia, Brasile, Bulgaria, Canada, Cile, Cina/Hong Kong, Finlandia, Francia, Germania, Gran Bretagna, India, Irlanda, Italia, Messico, Norvegia, Nuova Zelanda, Paraguay, Perù, Portogallo, Repubblica Ceca, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Spagna, Slovacchia, Stati Uniti d’America, Svizzera, Turchia, Ungheria e Uruguay. Con l’italiano Roberto Pinotti eletto Presidente, il britannico Gary Heseltine vicepresidente e lo statunitense Donald Schmitt portavoce, la neonata coalizione internazionale si occuperà di ricerca e divulgazione sull’ampia fenomenologia attinente agli oggetti volanti, o fenomeni atmosferici, anomali (UFO o UAP).
Nelle more del consolidamento della sua struttura e presenza sul web, il primo evento pubblico a cui l’ICER parteciperà, per quanto in via non ufficiale, è la ormai imminente 29ma edizione del Simposio Ufologico Mondiale organizzato dal Centro Ufologico Nazionale che quest’anno – a causa delle attuali misure relative al distanziamento sociale – si terrà necessariamente online e non fisicamente nella Repubblica di San Marino come in passato. Fra gli oratori di questo Simposio virtuale figurano infatti dieci suoi esponenti di primo piano in rappresentanza di altrettanti Paesi europei, americani e asiatici.
UFOs: FOR THE FIRST TIME A PRIVATE WORLD-CLASS RESEARCH ORGANISATION HAS BEEN CREATED
In 2018, China launched an international initiative to promote official research on Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs), particularly at the UN, ideally continuing the 1978 action by the government of Grenada. However, the Chinese-American trade war and the
Covid-19 epidemic caused the initiative to fail.
Recognizing the high value of the spirit of the original initiative, the group of researchers that had already been set up for this purpose decided to proceed independently. Thirty researchers from around the world have thus come together to form an unprecedented private research group that for the first time enables Ufological research to speak with one voice worldwide.
The newly formed group, named International Coalition for Extraterrestrial Research (ICER) is composed of researchers from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China/Hong Kong, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Russia, United States of America and Uruguay.
Headed by the Italian Roberto Pinotti as President, Gary Heseltine (UK) as Vice-President and in the US – Donald Schmitt as its official Spokesperson, the newly formed international coalition will carry out wide-ranging research and educational activities on various phenomena related to unidentified flying objects, or unidentified aerial phenomena, (UFOs or UAPs).
Pending the consolidation of its structure and web presence, the first public event in which ICER will participate, albeit unofficially, is the forthcoming 29th edition of the World Ufological Symposium organized by the Centro Ufologico Nazionale of Italy, which this year – due to the present social distancing measures – will be held online and not as usual in the Republic of San Marino. Among the speakers are ten of its leading representatives from Europe, America and Asia.
